Taken as a personal project, this was a love letter to Vans and Harmony Korine’s ‘KIDS’. I collaborated with Sydney-based skater Will Simmons to capture some images celebrating the rebellious, DIY nature of skate culture. Images were all captured at my home with portable lighting equipment - demonstrating nostalgic themes of adolescent obsession, dedication and practice of skating.
