These photographs were taken as a commentary the bleak, financial and socioeconomic oppression perpetuated by the ultimate failure of the American Dream. It also explores the trending nature of workwear clothing in the contemporary fashion sphere, which romantically appropriates the lifestyles of those who wear it out of necessity whilst simultaneously decreasing affordability and availability of these products.
